Baby Shower #4

Eric's employees and staff gave him a surprise baby shower at Wal-green's last week! We got a wonderful array of gifts including our other high chair, diapers, wipes, clothes, hooded towels, blankets, just to name a few of those things!  Here are a few pictures that one of the girls that Eric works with took with her phone and was kind enough to share with me!

29 week update!

We had a doctor's appointment on the 21st for our 29 week appointment. Graham weighed 3 lbs 6 oz and was measuring 31 weeks while Evie Claire weighed 2 lbs 12 oz and was measuring 29 weeks. These babies are growing fast! My stomach, on the other hand is measuring that of a single pregnancy at 38 weeks!!! No wonder I am uncomfortable! I can't even imagine how big it will be in another 6 weeks or so! We go back next week and then we start our 1 week visits!! Not too much longer!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I am thankful that we serve a God who makes things possible that we think are impossible and for these 2 miracles that bounce around in my belly ALL day and night long! Last Thanksgiving Eric and I never dreamed we would be pregnant with twins at this Thanksgiving dinner! What a difference a year makes! Next year we will have 2 crawling babies to share in Thanksgiving with!

Baby Shower #2!

My Sunday School class threw me an adorable baby shower on Friday November 11th at Kelly's house. It was so cute and everything matched our bedding for Graham and Evie Claire. And the food was delicious complete with chicken salad, pasta salad, veggies, fruit, a chicken ring, cupcakes and a cake that Kelly made to match all the decor. There was even a pink punch and a blue punch! It was too cute!! Thank you girls so much for helping bring Graham and Evie Claire into the world with plenty of books, clothes, blankets and cute tote bags!

My friend Misty made these amazing banners that were hung at the shower. I just took them down and made individual pictures of each banner and collaged it together. Misty cut all of this out by hand!!!!

Melanie of the Darling Little Bow Shop also made these adorable onesies for Graham and Evie Claire. You will definitely see some pictures of them in these outfits! They say 1 of 2 and 2 of 2.

3rd Trimester!!!

I am 28 weeks and 2 days and am officially in my 3rd trimester!! Where has the time gone???? I remember thinking that this pregnancy would drag on when in reality this has been the quickest 28 weeks of my life!! Graham and Evie Claire will be here in 6-10 weeks and that is not far away!  I am T-I-R-E-D!!!! But we still have lots to do! I am hoping that we can finish it all in the next 2-3 weeks so I can lay down and relax for a couple weeks before G and EC make their grand entrance to this world.

Lots has been going on and I am way behind on posting....we had a hospital tour, 2 more baby showers, doctors visits,  Sara and Nolan came for a SURPRISE visit, and on and on....pictures to come soon!

I have a doctors appointment on Monday and then we move to 1 week visits after that! Dr. Collins will start monitoring each baby more and if I am having any contractions. I did have 1 contraction about 3 weeks ago in the middle of the night, which she said was normal and not to worry about. I woke up and my stomach was so tight and there was about 1 minute of sharp sharp pain and then it went away. Even more of an indication that we will be getting an epidural!

G and EC are growing more everyday and moving tons. EC moves a lot more than G....I think he is waiting around until they get here to pay her back for all the kicking and moving she has been doing which is interrupting his naps. About 5-6 weeks ago EC weighed 1 lb 5 oz and G weighed 1 lb 7 oz and the haven't been weighed since. They will be weighed on Monday so I can't wait to see how much they have grown!

To end on a funny note......we FINALLY saw EC's face for the first time in 27 weeks last week!! And she was sticking her tongue out!!! Eric had to miss that doctor's appointment and was so upset that she showed her face (and her tongue) when he wasn't there. I told him not to worry....that I was sure in the next 10+ years she would stick her tongue out a lot and he would get to see it then! :)

What's in a Christmas Card?

I think a Christmas card should show you or your family's personality! I LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail from friends and family with pictures. I LOVE funny, quirky, and cute Christmas card pictures....

Here is last year's Christmas Card from the Kittle's!

Our attempt at getting a Christmas Card picture this year! A big thanks to our dear friends Chuck and Jill Davis who took these for us. We have a deal, you take our picture.....I will do the editing. Of course none of these will be seen on our Christmas Card this year! I like to keep that a surprise! I have a much cuter idea and can't wait to share it with you! Graham and Evie Claire have no idea what is in store in future years and all the ideas I have for Christmas Card pictures for them!
